Jessica Hough

PhD Student in Art History | GSS Cluster Fellow

Jessica Hough is a doctoral student in the Department of Art History and a Mellon Fellow in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Her research focuses on modern and contemporary art, with an emphasis on video and “new” media, performance and technology, feminist historiography, and queer theoretical approaches to art history in the late twentieth century. She received a Master's in Film Studies from Columbia University, and a Master's in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently the COSI Curatorial Intern in the Department of Photography at the Art Institute of Chicago.
