Khoa Phan Howard

PhD Student in Sociology | GSS Cluster Fellow

Khoa Phan Howard is a PhD student in Sociology, and a GSS Mellon Cluster Fellow at Northwestern. He studies how intimate relationships intersect with the state, legal institutions, and social institutions. His previous project investigated the reproduction of racial inequality in a gay Asian-White friendship group. His current project aims to analyze the relationship between local demographics and interracial marriage rates in the US. He received a BA in Sociology and English from The University of Chicago.
