Ryan Nhu (he/they) is a poet and PhD candidate in the Department of English. His dissertation examines the musicality of mourning in the works of James Baldwin and Joan Didion. His writing, creative and critical, can be found in the Asian American Writers’ Workshop’s The Margins; Action, Spectacle; Tyger Quarter; Feminist Media Histories: An International Journal; and elsewhere.
